Generic eschatological humour

A woman died and went to heaven.

As she stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, she saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

She asked, "What are all those clocks?"

St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will advance one minute."

"Oh," she said, "whose clock is that?"

"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."

"Incredible," she said. "And whose clock is that one?"

St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's [insert favourite politician's name] clock?" she asked.

"Oh [insert favourite politician's name]'s clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."

Yes, I too appreciated the title and the joke was great. I think you could insert almost any politician's name in the blank and it would be appropriate!
HA! HA! Like this "Cute nonsense"!

kaymac: I didn't want to put any politician in there. I first saw it with Bill Clinton, then with Gearge Bush. I even saw a version with our own former prime ministers Jean Chretien and Paul Martin (whose name sounded life Pol Martin - a fairly well known Canadian chef)

bee glad I could make you smile.

breal: yes, it is very generic

MOI: glad you enjoyed. I don't think I am going to have a “cute nonsense” category though.
Ah, ya never know when the "silly" factor of your personality will kick in, no matter how deeply embedded it is!

With me, it is not hard to mine. It's pretty much on the surface! (Is that called strip mining when it's near the top?)
