Would you lie for me?

Isn't life interesting? As it passes us by (or do we journey through it?), sometimes we find ourselves in circumstance were we are asked to do something for others - like lying.

If you are reading this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or you don't know me at all) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - but it has to be fake.

This is a do it yourself meme, borrowed from Ingrid who had done it a while back (unfortunately, the comments seem to have been lost). It was also done by Ms. Q - whose comments are not lost.

Richard, I need a favor. I'd like to have all my money back. Remember when I won the lottery and you wanted $2 million to refurbish your bathroom? Well, the bathroom is beautiful but I'm finding myself a little strapped for cash these days. Who knew $45 million could go so fast? I know I said you didn't have to pay it back but seeing how you just won $90 million in the Canadian lottery, I'm sure you wouldn't mind helping me out! Thanks! You're a real pal!

eden: nice of you to leave a comment.

prince romp: you know me, I'm a modest guy - I don't name drop.

ms. q: You know I'd love to help you out, but seeing as I'm married, I don't think Sofia is going to take kindly to me gifting large sums of money to friends. I hope you understand, but hey, you are welcome use the facilities whenever you are over.

colleen: thanks, those HTML bugs can be a problem - especially when they crawl in under your skin.

ghee: has it been that long? It seems like only yesterday when I first encountered you.

sassy lady:I only wanted to be sure you would not be disappointed - you know how the hype is sometimes better than the experience. I was thinking of you the whole time and how much you would enjoy this place.

You know how I cannot bear to be separated from you and when we cannot be together I need to be with someone who reminds me of you.
(Hey Richard, the comments are there even though the blog shows a "0" ... I don't understand why...)

Richard, remember that fabulous parachute dive that we took. I thought that I was going to die, but you were so sure that all would go well. If it weren't for you, I would have missed one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Thank you for being so confident and calm when I was in crisis mode. Thank you for making me feel safe.

ingrid: How could I forget? Ah, yes! I'm terrified of heights and the sensation of falling creps me out even more - I have blocked it out of my consciousness.

Trust me, it was all a facade ;-)
